Sports Osteopathy in Cycling
For the fourth year in a row our sports osteopath, , was active in team . The classic springtime season has come to an end, an overview.
The first important part of the cycling season is the springtime season which is mainly situated in Belgium. With races like 'Tour of Flanders', 'Paris - Roubaix' and 'Liege - Bastogne - Liege' this season takes in account 3 monuments! This year TREK launched a women's team beside the mens team. A new experience for our osteopath who had double work with this 
The preparation for the races comprehends checking the rides before each race for zone's of tension. It's a demanding period for the cyclists so their body's are suffering a lot, certainly after a crash. With sports osteopathy optimizing the neuro-vascular function is the main objective to enhance the performance.
It was again a tremendous experience! Working with world class athletes is the climax for any sports practitioner!
Upcoming are some stage races like Dauphiné and Tour of Poland. Looking forward to that too!

Frigyes op het WK met de Rode Duivels: optimale voorbereiding in Seattle
Voor Frigyes is het een bijzondere zomer. Als osteopaat maakt hij deel uit van de medische staf van de Rode Duivels tijdens het WK in de Verenigde Staten. De Belgische selectie heeft haar uitvalsbasis in het bruisende Seattle, een stad die beschikt over uitstekende trainingsfaciliteiten en een professionele sportinfrastructuur. Dat biedt de ideale omstandigheden om de spelers optimaal voor te bereiden op de uitdagende groepsfase.

Jelle Ceuleers bij Lidl-Trek tijdens de voorjaarsklassiekers
Met een prachtige editie van Luik-Bastenaken-Luik komen de voorjaarsklassiekers tot hun einde. Deze vormen elk jaar opnieuw een van de meest intense periodes in het professionele wielrennen. Dit voorjaar stond ook onze collega Jelle Ceuleers van LMent midden in dat verhaal.
